The Bailey Olympus range had some mighty big shoes to fill when it was announced that Bailey caravans were discontinuing the Bailey Pageant range and were being replaced by the Olympus as Bailey’s entry-level caravan. Aimed at both new and upgrading customers, the Bailey Olympus offered space and comfort as well as being packed out with features to give it its own identity within the market. Bailey Olympus mattresses will come in all different shapes and sizes as they were one of the most varied across any of Bailey’s caravans. Most offered at least one form of fixed bed and some had odd size mattresses to make the most of the space and accommodate fixtures like the wash and shower room.

Having to follow in the footsteps of the Bailey Pageant series was a massive undertaking, but Bailey caravans have time and time again shown that they are the masters of their craft and the Bailey Olympus range has something for everyone from the newcomers to the veterans. Spacious, comfortable, and practical, these caravans will be suitable for both couples and large families and are fully kitted out with features that continue to be included with Bailey caravans to this day. After the Bailey Pegasus range, the Bailey Olympus series was the second to be constructed from Bailey’s own Alu-Tech bodyshell. This technique involved interconnecting aluminium panels that allowed for a reduction in external joints and fixing points, meaning that the final result would have far better insulation and way less chance of water ingress and damp. This revolutionary technique is now applied across nearly the entire lineup and has helped to increase the longevity of every caravan it’s made with; perfect for when you’re shopping in the secondhand market.
