What do we think of the Bailey Phoenix range?
While considered a “budget” caravan purely by definition of it being one of the cheaper new caravans that you can buy, there is absolutely nothing “budget” about the Bailey Phoenix and Phoenix+ range. They may well be smaller than some caravans within this price range but they’re perfect for couples and families who want something that’s easier to tow and still have enough room to enjoy a longer trip away. The lounges are spacious and fitted with very high quality upholstery, the kitchens are very considered and cleverly designed, and the bedrooms have a great selection of fixed bed options to suit any preference. Bailey could’ve penny pinched and cut a few corners by going for cheaper alternatives for their included extras, but the Bailey Phoenix and Phoenix plus still have some of the great features that you can find in the top end models. All models come with AL-KO stabilisation as standard, Truma Combi heating, a Thetford combination oven, grill, and gas cooker, and an 800w microwave that is plateless in the Phoenix+ range. It’s these small considerations that make Bailey Phoenix caravans so special and they fill a much needed space within the caravan market that is so appealing to first time buyers and long term enthusiasts alike.
