What do we think of the Bailey Ranger range?
It’s hard to define the influence that the Bailey Ranger series had on the caravan industry as a whole. Bailey have always been great at recognising trends within the market and have listened to their customers so that they are always adapting and staying ahead of the curve when it comes to style and functionality. The Bailey Ranger series introduced a bunch of features in the mid 90’s that would be seen as absolute essentials by today’s standards. These include things such as mains lighting, blown air heating systems, a fridge freezer, and even a TV aerial, and these came with all of the caravans produced since. Even if some of these models are nearly 30 years old, you can pick one up on the second hand market (especially the Bailey Ranger GT60 anniversary edition) in really good condition for an absolute steal and you can’t really go wrong. Of course there’s going to be wear and tear, maybe some of the upholstery or fittings might need some love, possibly even a replacement Bailey Ranger mattress, but for couples and families who want a budget friendly way of getting into caravanning and the memories it can help create, you could do far, far worse than a Bailey Ranger.
