Why Do You Make So Many Mattresses for Caravans, Campervans & Boats?

You’re more likely to find an odd sized bed in a leisure vehicle than you are inside a house. As a result, we get lots of requests to make mattresses for those spaces.

Despite this, we also make a high volume of mattresses destined for everyday beds, such as mattresses for antique bed frames with odd sizes, imported bed frames with non-UK sizes, mattresses for box bedrooms, sofa bed mattresses, and, of course, standard UK size mattresses (typically for customers who’ve already fallen in love with their odd size mattresses and want one elsewhere).

How Do Our Everyday & Leisure Vehicle Mattresses Differ?

No matter where you’ll be using your new mattress, we’ll always construct it from the same high-quality materials, meaning you can sleep on it every night of the year. In addition to enhanced durability, this also helps to provide you with a higher level of comfort.

Are There Special Considerations for Daily Use?

If your mattress will be used every day of the year, we strongly recommend a minimum depth of 20cm. This depth provides the optimal level of comfort and durability, making it perfect for everyday use.

In addition to depth, it’s also important to consider the firmness rating. If you weigh less than 15 stone, you can opt for any firmness rating, as long as your mattress is at least 13cm thick. If you weigh between 15 and 20 stone, we recommend upgrading to our firmer feel for enhanced support. If you weigh more than 20 stone, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
