For over 70 years, Bailey have been one of the leading caravan brands in the world and their design, build quality, and technical innovations have helped push the industry forward in a number of different ways. One of their most important ranges is the Bailey Pegasus range as it was the first to feature Bailey’s patented Alu-Tech construction. This groundbreaking engineering feat involves building the caravan using interlocking aluminium panels that substantially reduces water ingress and in turn gives every caravan built with it a much longer lifespan. Bailey caravans went on to include this construction technique debuted in the Bailey Pegasus in every one of their caravans moving forward and its presence in the market meant that other competitors had to follow suit to keep up. The Bailey Pegasus range has been excellent at balancing premium features and fixtures with affordability, which means more people have had a chance to experience that extra bit of luxury in their home away from home. Because of Alu-Tech construction keeping the shell of the caravan in much better condition in the long term, Bailey Pegasus caravans are a much more inviting proposition within the second hand market. A lot of their interiors are stylish enough to stand the test of time and the furnishings in even the earlier models still have a premium feel to them. Bailey saw how the market was trending towards caravans with fixed beds and as a result the majority of the Pegasus range have some sort of fixed bed with an odd size mattress on it.
