Box bedrooms can be akward enough without the added headache of not being able to fit a standard size mattress in place. Fortunately Custom Size Beds manufacturers ‘odd sized mattresses’ with reduced length and / or reduced width. Is the distance between your bedroom walls causing you difficulty in sourcing a mattress? Maybe you are trying to fit a mattress in-between an alcove, airing cupboard or space over a stairway. Get in touch for a quotation and further information.
A lot of people ask us can we supply them with a mattress to fit their uniquely sized antique bed frame and our answer is always yes. Carrying a new mattress up the stairs and / or into the bedroom is never an easy due to their bulky dimensions. With this reason in mind, all of our mattress are vacuum packed and rolled prior to dispatch. This prevents your mattress from being damaged in transit whilst making also makes installation much easier. Just lay the roll on the bed frame and carefully cut the plastic bag open. The next step is quite fascinating to watch as you watch the mattress unroll and expand into place! Typically you will need to leave your mattress in place for around 5-6 hours to allow for sufficient time to recover from vacuum packing.
