Factory fitted motorhome mattresses often range between 10cm-20cm in depth, with 15cm being the most common thickness.
Generally speaking, the thicker the mattress the higher the level of comfort when sleeping. However, mattresses over 20cm are unnecessary and simply add weight, slowing down your motorhome, with no extra comfort benefits. Whilst we can cut our mattresses thicker, we strongly 20cm is the optimal depth for most motorhome mattresses.
If space is really lacking in your motorhome, we can cut our motorhome mattresses to ANY thickness you require. If your mattress is 12cm or less, we recommend upgrading to our firmer more supportive base foam to provide an enhance level of support to make the most of the depth available.
Most motorhome beds require the mattress to be a custom shape, and so it’s worth ensuring your fitted sheet is cut to the same shape for a polished look and a comfortable sleep. Our custom fitted sheets are crafted from 400 thread count Egyptian cotton, and are fully elasticated for ease of use.
